Our Founding Story
Ziip Courier was founded with a vision to transform logistics, born from the challenges faced by a young small business owner navigating the constraints of traditional shipping systems. Recognizing the need for more flexible, affordable solutions, our founder reimagined courier services by leveraging local commuters and self-employed drivers to deliver shipments efficiently and cost-effectively. This innovative approach created a win-win model, providing a lucrative opportunity for drivers while offering businesses and individuals reliable, customer-centric delivery services. The result is a simplified, more adaptable shipping process that works seamlessly for both clients and drivers.
With the rise of smartphone technology and the increasing demand for last-mile delivery solutions, Ziip Courier expanded its vision to build a platform centered on fairness, efficiency, and opportunity. Partnering with Google Maps, the company secured a groundbreaking transaction billing agreement and quickly grew a team driven by shared values and diverse skills. Today, Ziip Courier stands as a revolutionary last-mile delivery network, empowering drivers, shippers, and employees through an ecosystem of equity and innovation. Guided by the principles of intention, impact, and continuous improvement, Ziip remains committed to creating meaningful change for its stakeholders and the environment.
